The zūmo® XT2 GPS unit is the latest generation of Garmin motorcycle navigators that are built for adventure motorcycling. The biggest change over the previous zumo XT is the larger and brighter 6” sunlight-readable display that is built to withstand weather and handlebar vibrations. This larger screen makes it easier to follow tracks for riding a Backcountry Discovery Route or rides at the Touratech Rally or other organized events. The larger screen and brighter display make route finding and navigation much easier in direct sunlight, allowing you to relax enjoy the ride.
Another great feature for street touring is the new visual route planner that lets you customize your journey with options such as choosing between a thrilling ride with extra twists and turns or experiencing a more efficient route. Start a group ride to track your friends on the zūmo display (requires the use of the Tread® smartphone app and requires cell coverage). See popular moto paths and use satellite imagery to find new places to explore. Afterward, share your ride details, including elevation, acceleration and deceleration. For motorcyclists looking for the ultimate navigator, get ready to enjoy the ride.
Like the zumo XT, the Zumo XT2 allows you to hear navigation promtps and music, and even make phone calls, hands-free, when paired with a compatible headset in your helmet. This feature requires pairing with the Tread smartphone app. This unit is also compatible with inReach satellite communicator with an active subscription
Be sure to secure this zumo XT2 with a Touratech Locking Mount which prevents theft when you are away from the bike and also provides a more positive connection to the bike to prevent an accidental release from the stock power cradle when the riding gets rough.
